8:20 (UTC +7) FTMD's effort helps the team reached 10th on the Scoreboard after successfully solving Web05, getting 2850 points in total. Following right behind is WreckTheLine who has just solved Crypto02 with 2810 points. Top 10 teams to the Final Round will certainly have many surprises in the last minutes of the competition.
With the participation of FTMD, Vietnam is currently the country with the most teams in the Top 10 (3 teams).
According to the rules of the competition, the selection of 10 teams to the Final Round is as follows: Top 10 teams with score top-down. Each country/territory has only maximum 3 teams to participate (with the highest points). The registration of country flags will be checked before the Final Round. One team is considered as valid if at least one member of that team is the citizen of that country/territory.
The teams cannot change their national flag right after the Qualifier's begining.
8:15 (UTC +7) The Qualifier will end in 45 minutes. The system is recording the participation of 734 teams from 84 countries and territories around the world, of which 149 teams score.
2 teams not in Top 10 now, dcua and pwndevils, are names of WhiteHat Grand Prix 2018 Final Round, are constantly submitting answers to challenges, improving their scores and ranks.
8:10 (UTC +7) Misc 02 seams to be a difficult challenge to almost teams. Only perfectblue solved this challenge. Misc02 introduces on Flappy Bird, a famous mobile game developed by a Vietnamese.
8:00 (UTC +7) One more hour, the Qualifier of WhiteHat Grand Prix 06 will finish. The lower-position teams still try to improve their ranks on the Scoreboard.
7:45 (UTC +7) In the last minutes of the Qualifier, the competition on Top 10 is even more intense. OpenToA11 (USA), after solving Web 05, rising to 10th, pushing The Flat Network Society. With the participation of OpenToA11, USA is currently the country with the most teams in the Top 10, 3 teams.
Web05 will open a picture of Vietnam's achievements in the Asia-Pacific Robot Competition.
7:30 (UTC +7) perfectblue becomes the first team solving successfully Misc02, rising to No. 1 on the Scoreboard. The team from USA is also the first team to complete all the challenges of WhiteHat Grand Prix 06's Qualifier, holding a ticket to the Final Round.
FTMD (Vietnam) continues to improve its rank when successfully solving Misc03, rising to 11th position.
7:20 (UTC +7) There is no much change in leading positions of Top 10. USA, Vietnam, Korea, Russia, Idia, German and France have teams in Top 10.
7:10 (UTC +7) As the competition system was temporally frozen, the Organizer still sent challenge to the teams, so the Qualifier will end at 9:00 (UTC +7) as expected.
Top 10 has changed. The Flat Network Society from France replaces WreckTheLine on 10th position after submiting Web01, pushing WreckTheLine to 11th. The competition is getting more and more intense. Only one successfull submit can make change in Top 10.
7:00 (UTC +7) 2 more hours, the Qualifier of WhiteHat Grand Prix 06 will finish.
With the theme of Vietnam Today, the Organizers of WhiteHat Grand Prix 06 will introduce a modern Vietnam on the rise with achievements of culture, economics, science and technique, etc.
Solving Prog01, the teams will be instroduced about Son Doong cave, the world's largest natural caves in the world.
6:50 (UTC +7) FTMD, currently in Top 20, continuously submit. If they can keep this speed, a position in Top 10 is not unrealistic.
6:45 (UTC +7) The gap between the teams in Top 15 has no too different. The rank can change right after one team give solution for a challenge.
Nearly 1 day for competition passes, the teams always try hard to submit. Through the support channel, lot of feedbacks from the teams are given.
WhiteHat Grand Prix 06 has the format of Jeopardy, Attack/Defense and Private Bug Bounty program, finding vulnerabilities on important information systems and popular software in Vietnam.
Top 3 in the Finals will be rewarded with VND 230 million (appx USD 10,000), VND 45 million (appx USD 2,000) and VND 23 million (appx 1,000 USD) respectively. In addition, teams have the change to get bounties per bug they find in the Private Bug Bounty.

6:10 (UTC+7) In all opened challenges, only Misc02 still has not been solved. On support channel, hint is required.
Through the support channel, some members shared that they woud give high rank for WhiteHat Grand Prix 06 thanks to the Organizer's continuous support. This feedback is the motivation for the Support team during the rest time of the contest.
05:49 (UTC+7) More Smoked Leet Chicken has just been pushed to the 3rd place after perfectblue successfully solved Re 02. Once again, it can be seen that the scoring method which benefits the first team to solve each challenge has made the race to the Final Round more intense and unpredictable.
5:33 (UTC+7) DiceGang has just gained back the 1st place of the score board after submitting correct flag for Web 04, with slight difference of only 20 points compared to More Smoked Leet Chicken which is now standing 2nd.
It can be seen that the special way of calculating points for the challenges (Point for each challenge = 500 – (number of teams solving the challenge)*10, in which the first team to solve a challenge will get the first blood equivalent to 10 points) has encouraged the teams to rush to find out the correct flags.
05:15 (UTC+7) Qualification Round of WhiteHat Grand Prix 06 will end in 4 hours. The race to Top 10 is now tougher than ever, when teams have been continuously submitting correct flags. Top 10 now includes 1 team from Russia, 2 from the USA, 2 from Vietnam, 2 teams from Korea, 2 from India and one team from Germany.
As in the notice from the Organizer, perfectblue got 10 point first blood for Misc 04 (as they submitted and the system recorded before the system shutdown). No first blood for Web 04 and Misc 02.

Now, there is only one challenge left unsolved for More Smoked Leet Chicken, and this team is sure to get a high position on the scoreboard of WhiteHat Grand Prix 06.
04:35 (UTC+7) It can be seen that after the system works back, teams continuously submit correct flags to gain a place in top 10, which also means a slot to the Final Round of WhiteHat Grand Prix 06
04:06 (UTC+7) After a few minutes, More Smoked Leet Chicken gains back its first place on the score board. Current top 5 includes: More Smoked Leet Chicken (Russia), perfectblue (USA), DiceGang (USA), ACEBEAR (Vietnam) and InfoSecIITR (India). These teams have almost always been in the top 10 from the start of the competition.
04:00 (UTC+7) The system of the competition is back. Leading the score board is now the team from USA – perfectblue, while the rest of top 10 seem to have changed not much.
02:30 (UTC+7) Via the support channels, the teams keep sending the flags they found to the Organizer for confirmation and record of flag submission.
02:00 (UTC+7) The Organizer decides to send download links of the challenges to teams, so that the teams can continue finding out correct flags while waiting for the system to work back. Finding the flags, teams can send them to the Organizer for confirmation and record of submission.
