Vietnam will have a global cyber security competition

On October 25, 2014, Bkav Corporation officially announced the result of the cyber security competition WhiteHat Grand Prix - Grand Prize 2014, and said it would expand the competition to the global scale, allowing teams from different countries around the world to register for participation.

The competition of WhiteHat Grand Prix 2014 was organized to promote the movement of learning and researching on information security, enhancing cyber security resources for the country. Immediately after the announcement, the competition attracted the registration of 100 teams nationwide.

The final round of WhiteHat Grand Prix 2014 was held simultaneously at Grand Plaza Hotel, Hanoi and Vissai Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City. After 5 hours of competition, __BAMB00__ team officially became the champion, winning the first prize of VND 100 million of the largest cyber security competition ever in Vietnam. Two teams REBD and babyrobots took second and third prizes, worth 20 and 10 million dong respectively.

Many names that have won high rankings at international and national CTF competitions participated.
