From the early morning, all technical and support preparations were ready. Two hotline numbers are available to support teams promptly during the qualification round.
Mr. Ngo Tuan Anh, Bkav Vice President of Cyber Security, said: "Right from the start, teams fiercely solved the challenges and raced each other closely. Even after just first 10 minutes, there was the first team to score. This shows that the level of teams is quite good".
13 minutes after releasing the first challenges, team Felix from the South was the first team to solve a challenge. By the end of this morning (September 19), with a score of 500 points Felix was firmly in the first position in the South. Babyrobots is the first position in the North with a score of 800.

The qualifier of WhiteHat Grand Prix 2014 will end at 10 am, September 20. The organizer said that teams don’t have to spend all this time just to solve the challenges, but can arrange their own time to rest.
The qualification round of WhiteHat Grand Prix will select the 10 best teams (5 teams in the North, 5 teams in the South). On October 25, 2014, these 10 teams will participate in the final round held simultaneously in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
WhiteHat Grand Prix is the first competition in Vietnam to apply attack/defense format. It is interesting that the organizer itself must also think of options simulating the attacks to sabotage the contest and set up the defense system for the competition.
According to the organizer, WhiteHat Grand Prix 2014 is not limited to participants. In addition to university students, those who are working in the field of cyber security at agencies and businesses are also encouraged to register for the competition. Prizes of the competition include the first prize of VND 100 million, the second prize of VND 20 million and the third prize of VND 10 million.
